My top 3 favorite membership clubs have been paying off big time lately!
First let's talk Borders. When you sign up with Borders you get a Borders Card that you can use online as well is in store. I have been receiving TONS of coupons lately and Borders Bucks. Just today I found a 33% off one item between 1-5-10 ~1-11-10 in my e-mail. Wow! This coupon can be used online or in-store. What is really great about Borders Rewards is that there is no membership fee you just present your card whenever you make a purchase it is really easy to do online as well. With my rewards bucks I was able to buy 3 books last week (2 for me and 1 for my son) for about $4. That's a pretty great deal!
Second favorite membership, Staples Rewards. This is another free membership through Staples where you present your card when you make purchases to see if anything counts (particularly ink cartridges and paper) and/or return empty cartridges for $3 credit per cartridge and a few short weeks later you receive a nice check to use for anything in the Staples store! Also, when you sign up you receive e-mails with great coupons to use and great insider info on sales. Yesterday I just received my Rewards check for $15 so I am going to look through my list of necessities to see what we are low on and make a trip out to my store.
With my printed out coupons and membership cards I am looking forward to a very inexpensive relaxing afternoon of errands.
